Privacy Notice on the Protection of Personal Data (KVKK)

When you contact TEDEG, the following personal data may be processed:

• Name and surname,
• Company / organisation,
• Position / title,
• Telephone number,
• E-mail address,
• Messages, requests, quotation requests or statements you send us,
• Other information you share during the communication.

Please do not share special categories of personal data in our contact or request forms unless they are necessary.

The personal data collected may be processed solely for the following purposes:

• Communicating with you,
• Evaluating and responding to your requests for information, quotations, products, services and cooperation,
• Managing relationships with customers and prospective customers,
• Managing sales, quotation and after-sales processes,
• Following up requests and complaints,
• Conducting business and commercial relationships,
• Fulfilling legal obligations,
• Protecting TEDEG’s legal rights and, where necessary, conducting dispute proceedings.

Your personal data may be processed on the following legal grounds set out in Article 5 of KVKK:

• Processing is directly related to the conclusion or performance of a contract,
• Processing is necessary for the data controller to fulfil its legal obligations,
• Processing is necessary for the establishment, exercise or protection of a right,
• Processing is necessary for TEDEG’s legitimate interests, provided that it does not harm your fundamental rights and freedoms.

Where explicit consent is required, your personal data will be processed only after your explicit consent has been obtained separately.

To achieve the purposes above and to fulfil legal obligations, and in accordance with the KVKK provisions on data transfers, your personal data may be transferred to:

• Authorised TEDEG employees and the relevant departments,
• Suppliers and business partners from whom services are obtained, where necessary,
• Legal, financial advisory and similar professional service providers,
• Public institutions and organisations, and judicial and administrative authorities that are legally authorised.

Your personal data are shared only to the extent permitted by the applicable legislation and with the necessary security measures in place.

Your personal data may be collected through the electronic forms on the TEDEG website, e-mail, telephone and other communication channels you use, by fully or partially automated means, or by non-automated means provided that they form part of a data recording system.

Your personal data are kept for as long as the purposes of processing require, taking into account the statutory retention periods set out in the applicable legislation.

Once the reasons for processing no longer exist and there is no other legal obligation requiring retention, your personal data are erased, destroyed or anonymised in accordance with the applicable legislation.

Under Article 11 of KVKK, you have the right to apply to TEDEG to:

• Learn whether your personal data are processed,
• Request information if they have been processed,
• Learn the purpose of processing and whether the data are used in line with that purpose,
• Know the third parties in Türkiye or abroad to whom your personal data are transferred,
• Request the correction of incomplete or inaccurate personal data,
• Request the erasure or destruction of your personal data where the conditions set out in KVKK are met,
• Request that correction, erasure or destruction be notified to the third parties to whom your personal data have been transferred,
• Object to a result against you arising from the analysis of your data exclusively by automated systems,
• Claim compensation for damage suffered as a result of unlawful processing of your personal data.
